Energy efficiency is central to reaching Net Zero. Efficiency measures – such as retrofit solutions like solar panels and cavity wall insulation – will not only offset an increase in energy prices, it will also reduce your reliance on the grid – putting the power back in your hands. It allows you and your household to be part of the bigger solution when it comes to tackling climate change.

Landlords will be banned from renting out their properties unless they meet minimum energy efficiency standards (EPC C or above) by 2030.

Hous & Home, working with our partner company, Qwala, can advise, guide and deliver the installation of energy efficient measures. Qwala are able to discuss available grants and finance.

The North of England is a thriving region rich in dramatic landscapes, diverse cities, renowned universities, must-visit food and drink destinations and attractions to keep the whole family busy. It is a premium destination to live, work and set up a business. Significant investment from the public and private sector is boosting the Northern economy, investing in skills, innovation and transport. Business growth is providing world-class jobs and training to attract and retain some of the best talent.
What does levelling up mean for housing? More demand for premium properties in bustly cosmopolitan centres or tranquil countryside villages. It means good quality, higher yield and greater capital growth investment opportunities.
